Creation of your bespoke website

Be visible online thanks to your website

Be visible online thanks to your website

Like a virtual business card, your website is your online presence that can be used to talk about your services, your values, or to clearly display your contact details.

A showcase site allows you to be referenced on Google so that your current and future clients can easily find you and access more information about your company.

Need more than a website?

That’s not a problem!

I prefer to refer you to a trusted partner rather than leave you alone with your questions and needs.

If your requests go beyond my skills, I will put you in touch with the person who can support you in their area of expertise, and we will all collaborate together: photographer, graphic designer, writer, translator… Everything is possible!

Why choose Wedgi Design?

My experience at your service

With several years of experience in the web field, I advise you on both aesthetics and the technical side, thanks to my dual role as a web designer and integrator.

A single point of contact

Unlike an agency, I am a freelancer to prioritise the human and direct aspect with you. I will be your preferred contact during exchanges and feedback, which facilitates and streamlines communication.

Bespoke for each project

Because you are unique and your project reflects you, all Wedgi sites are designed only bespoke. Thus, I adapt as much as possible to your needs, desires, and budget.

The process of creating your website

Over tea or coffee, at my office in Annecy or wherever suits you. Video conferencing can also bridge the gap!

We’ll discuss your project, your business, and your objectives together. This meeting helps me understand your needs and define how I can best support you.

Following our discussion, I’ll prepare a detailed proposal.

Do you have any questions or modifications you’d like to make? We can fine-tune the quotation together before officially starting our collaboration.

A 40% deposit will be requested to confirm the order. The balance will be invoiced upon project delivery.

I’ll gather all the information I need: logo, brand guidelines, content, photos, hosting access, etc.

Initially, it’s my turn to get to work. I’ll explore several creative directions, design the ideal universe for your project, and use my magic wand to make everything shine. Together, we’ll discuss these proposals until we reach the final concept.

There’s no “tunnel effect”: you’ll closely follow and participate fully in the project’s progression. Your involvement is essential to ensure everyone’s satisfaction.

Integration refers to transforming the mock-up—which is more of a static image than a real website—into a fully coded and dynamic site. This phase takes several days and allows the addition of animations, thorough responsive testing, and the inclusion of any content that might have been missing during the previous stage.

Your website is now complete. I can handle the deployment and launch on the web hosting provider of your choice.

Independence is essential for everyone. I can provide training on how to effectively manage your site if you’d like to update it yourself later, or offer a maintenance contract if you’d prefer me to take care of it for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can’t find your question in the list below?

For one-page or showcase website design, I primarily use WordPress combined with page builders such as Divi or Elementor.

This choice is based on my belief that you should have some autonomy in managing your website’s content, without having to touch a single line of code or requiring my assistance for simple changes like correcting a typo.

For e-commerce websites, I recommend one platform over another depending on your specific needs, your comfort level with technology, and the anticipated scale of your future e-commerce site.

I primarily work with:

  • PrestaShop
  • WordPress / WooCommerce
  • Shopify

When delivering your website, I’ll provide you with all the necessary login details and access rights so that you have complete control over your new site.

If you prefer not to manage updates or modifications yourself, you can entrust these tasks to me through a maintenance package and/or a prepaid block of hours.

I only invoice you for the website design itself. However, I’ll guide and advise you in purchasing the necessary elements to launch your site:

  • Web hosting (around €100/year)
  • Domain name (approximately €12/year per domain)

Additional costs may apply if external features are purchased (WordPress plugins, Elementor Pro licence, etc.), or if you choose to buy images from premium stock photo websites.

You can also add optional services such as copywriting, photography, or custom development—everything depends on your project’s needs!

No. However, I offer several options:

  • A monthly maintenance service, quoted on request, which includes technical updates and site backups.
  • More extensive improvements based on your needs, provided through dedicated WordPress support.

A 40% deposit is always required at the start of the project, upon signing the quote, to reserve time in my schedule. The balance will be requested upon delivery of the website.

However, if you’d prefer to spread out the payments, feel free to let me know during the quoting stage so I can offer you a 3-installment payment plan.

Once the final invoice has been paid, you will be the full legal owner of your website.

You will have administrator access to your site, and both the hosting and domain name(s) will be registered in your name. You’ll be free to work with another provider if you wish.

That’s also why I don’t offer subscription-based packages where the website is paid in monthly instalments like a rental.

On average, a showcase website takes 2 to 3 months from quote approval to final delivery.

For e-commerce sites, you should expect 3 to 6 months, depending on the size of your online store.

Timelines can vary significantly depending on your response times, feedback, the features to be added, the number of pages, and more—all of which can extend the duration of the project.

Having a logo and an established visual identity will help ensure consistency across all your communication materials.

While they are highly recommended, they are not mandatory to create your website.

To stay focused on my area of expertise, I no longer offer visual identity design myself. However, I work closely with trusted graphic designers and can refer you to the right person to create your visual identity.
